"It's a bit complicated": Samuel Le Bihan talks about confinement with his autistic little daughter: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Guest of RTL Morning on the occasion of world autism awareness day, actor Samuel Le Bihan answered questions from journalist Alba Ventura. Father of a little girl Angie, diagnosed with autism at the age of 22 months, the actor created the platform Autism Info service. "Explain to an autistic child that today because of the virus we have to stay confined, it's very complicated " he said at the microphone. While on a daily basis, parents of autistic children accompany their children towards opening up to the outside world, confinement leads them to hold an opposite discourse: "make your child understand that, unlike everything we have learned: social exchanges, reaching out to others, not staying in a bubble, conversely, we have to stay confined. The actor had to fight a long fight to educate his daughter Angie, now aged 8 years. But this daily finds itself upset today: "everything at school stops, habits, routines stop. This is really problematic. " he confides. To make her feel better, the actor spends a lot of time with her, which she particularly appreciates. They create new routines together."I know her well, I know how to please her, animate her, I give her activities all the time. I have to stimulate her." he explains tenderly.
