“It’s a nice nod to Women of law” … Ingrid Chauvin and Fabrice Deville talk about their reunion in Joséphine guardian angel on TF1

Almost twenty years after their collaboration in “Women of law”, Ingrid Chauvin and Fabrice Deville (“Un Si Grand Soleil”) find themselves in an unpublished episode of “Joséphine guardian angel” broadcast this evening on TF1. They confide in their friendship.

Joséphine, guardian angel is indeed back in unpublished on TF1. After the deprogramming last Monday of the episode with Linda Hardy in favor of a special edition devoted to the return of the French team to Paris in the wake of the World Cup Final in Qatar, the series led by Mimie Mathy returns this Monday evening at 9:10 p.m. with a new episode which welcomes Ingrid Chauvin (Tomorrow belongs to us) as a main guest.

For this new mission entitled “Any test”, Joséphine arrives in a family of sportsmen to help Laure (Ingrid Chauvin), whose 17-year-old son, Julien, only dreams of going to live alone far from her. The relationship between the mother and the son is very conflictual, and the situation becomes complicated when Julien is fired from CREPS, the training center for high-level athletes in which his mother works.

Alongside Mimie Mathy and Ingrid Chauvin, TF1 viewers will find Grégoire Paturel, seen in La Faute à Rousseau and Infidèle, in the role of Julien. But also two actors from Un Si Grand Soleil: Fabrice Deville, who plays Christophe here, Laure’s husband, and Maëlle Mietton, who recently said goodbye to the daily soap opera of France 2.

This is not the first time that Ingrid Chauvin and Fabrice Deville have had the opportunity to play together since the two actors had already given the reply in many scenes of seasons 2 and 3 of Femmes de loi between 2002 and 2004 on TF1. In the detective series also with Natacha Amal, Fabrice Deville indeed embodied Chris, the journalist boyfriend of Marie Balaguère, the cop interpreted by the star of Tomorrow belongs to us.

The new episode Joséphine, guardian angel broadcast this evening on TF1 thus marks a happy reunion for Ingrid Chauvin and her playing partner at the time, who had forged a real bond of friendship on the set of Femmes de loi and had remained in contact since.

Ingrid Chauvin and Fabrice Deville reunited alongside Mimie Mathy and Grégoire Paturel.

“Fabrice is really one of my friends, with whom I have always kept in touch”confided to us recently in an interview with Ingrid Chauvin. “We hadn’t seen each other for years, but we sent messages from time to time. It was really nice to meet on this project. It’s funny to see each other again after so long. We s realized that we had changed a lot (laughs). But it’s a nice nod to Women in Law and to the viewers who were watching the series at the time”.

A feeling that Fabrice Deville completely shares. “Ingrid is really a very long-time friend. And there, that she plays my wife a few years after Women of Law in which we were already a couple, I found it very nice”.

The actor, who lends his features to Florent in Un Si Grand Soleil, seems to have greatly appreciated this Sète parenthesis for an episode of Joséphine, guardian angel and is also full of compliments on his other partners, namely Mimie Mathy and the young Grégoire Paturel, who plays his son on screen.

“Mimie is someone I greatly appreciate. I find her courageous and hardworking. She has more than a hundred episodes of Joséphine and it feels like her first. ( …) As for Grégoire, he’s funny as hell. I had a good laugh with him. He’s a young actor who doesn’t hesitate to give of himself. It’s great to see an actor who gives himself trouble. He did triathlon, bike for the needs of the series. He’s a great guy very invested “.
