A real blow for Claire Chazal. According to information from our colleagues from “Télérama”, the journalist learned on Monday that her cultural program “Passage des arts”, broadcast on France, had stopped. The former star of TF1 news, who defended the quality of the program to the end, denounces an “injustice”.
Claire Chazal pushed towards the exit by France Télévisions … The journalist has just learned of the cessation of her program passage of the arts, broadcast on France 2. Telerama reveals that the journalist learned it officially on Monday. But the future of the show had already been more than uncertain for two weeks, since the arrival of a new program had been announced by the press: a new magazine devoted to cinema, carried by Pierre Lescure, broadcast in the usual box of Passages of the artson Sunday evening, in the second part of the evening.
“It’s a great feeling of injustice”
Claire Chazal reacted to Télérama: “It’s brutal. And it’s a great feeling of injustice. I absolutely did not see the blow coming”. She said she “defended the quality of the show, its content, the variety of its programming”, but she says that “it was not negotiable”. According to Telerama, it was the audiences that were deemed too low. And what future now for Claire Chazal at France Télévisions? His contract ends in June and nothing has been offered to him according to Telerama.
