It’s Christmas on Netflix: 4 films and series to watch under the plaid and with the family

Christmas is coming soon ! And to get into the mood, nothing better than a cozy little selection of films and series… to watch alone or with the family!

Christmas with You (already available)

What is it about ? In the midst of a burnout, pop star Angelina flees to a small town to fulfill a young fan’s dream. She not only finds inspiration there to relaunch her career, but also a chance to find true love.

Who is it with? Did you love actress Aimee Garcia in Lucifer where she played Ella? She is the headliner of Christmas With You, a Christmas film that smells like the tree! She gives the reply and falls under the spell of Frederick Prinze Jr., icon of the 90s/2000s that we love to see again on our screens. Expect a romance that warms the heart like hot chocolate and will allow you to spend a nice time with your family!

The Christmas Diary (already available)

What is it about ? Best-selling author Jake Turner returns home at Christmas to settle the estate of a mother with whom he had a strained relationship. He then discovers a diary which could well enlighten him on his story and that of Rachel, an intriguing young woman embarked on her own quest. Together, they undertake to face their past to discover a future they did not suspect.

Who is it with? Who has never had a crush on Justin Hartley, whether in Smallville where he played the green archer or in This Is Us, where he made us laugh and cry? The actor is (finally?) starring in a romantic Christmas comedy. Barrett Doss (seen in Station 19) completes this duo. The Noel Diary, which is already available on the platform, seems to please subscribers since it appears in the top 10 of the most viewed films at the moment. Probably because it breaks the clichés of the genre…

Scrooge, a (bad) Christmas carol (02/12)

What is it about ? On a cold Christmas night, stingy old man Ebenezer Scrooge must confront his past and change the future before it’s too late.

What there is to know : Netflix has also thought of children with Scrooge, a (bad) Christmas carol, animated film inspired by the book by Charles Dickens. A Christmas musical tale with a fantastic little twist to spice it all up? We are fans!

Christmas Storm (16/12)

What is it about ? Fates collide when, a few hours before Christmas, travelers and airport staff find themselves stuck together due to weather conditions.

What there is to know : Are you more in the mood for a little Christmas series? We have what you need with Christmas Storm, a Polish production in red and white that changes a little from the usual sets. What make us want to get stuck in an airport to maybe meet the woman / man of his life…
