AlloCiné spoke with Sara Mortensen and the star of “Astrid and Raphaëlle” gave us some revelations about season 4 of the France 2 detective series! Romance, family, work… These new adventures will not be easy!
A real phenomenon on France 2, the Astrid and Raphaëlle series fascinates viewers. On the air, the tandem of investigators left the public in suspense at the end of a third season rich in emotion. The final also had its share of reversals!
The revelations of Sara Mortensen
Sara Mortensen, who slips into the skin of Astrid, spoke with AlloCiné as part of the promotion of her next series L’Abîme (offered from February 8 on France 2). During this interview, the actress also returned to the detective fiction which she plays with Lola Dewaere (who plays Raphaëlle, therefore). She then indulged in a few secrets about the continuation of the adventures of our shock duo in season 4.
The actress revealed to us:We left Astrid after a kiss with Tetsuo, she is in love trouble. It’s a feeling that she doesn’t manage well since she discovers it… Moreover, there was a physical relationship between them, in the sense that her lips touched those of someone else! It’s never happened before… We’re going to wonder whether love should be physical too.“
Sara Mortensen added on her character: “She learned from Anne Langlais (Valerie Kaprisky, ndr) that his father was going to be the father of a second child when he died. She has a half-brother, she summarizes. Already, finding her mother who abandoned her when she was two years old did not interest her more than that. So, a half-brother, of a father who is dead, whom she has never seen, of a woman she does not know… I let you imagine the joy she has to find this 7-year-old child and her interest in him! (laughs) This little one is going to disrupt his life.“
A long-awaited season 4
Finally, the star of Astrid and Raphaëlle predicted some turmoil within the cop team: “Unfortunately, there is going to be a new element in the crime squad since a character will be leaving… And obviously, as soon as there is a change for Astrid, she takes time to tell herself that it’s great! (laughs)“Will this arrival be that of Nora, played by Sophia Yamna? Previously announced in an official press release, this recruit will also visibly sow trouble between Raphaëlle and Nicolas (Benoît Michel)…
Among the guests, Tom Villa, Philippe Chevallier, Stomy Bugsy, Xavier Gallais, Jean-Baptiste Guegan, Hélène Médigue and Théo Curin will intervene in this future burst of episodes. On the broadcast side, on the other hand, we do not know when the series will return to France 2. Will it be broadcast in the spring as for seasons 1 and 2 or in September as for season 3?
