It’s official, BK ROG Esports grabs the last LFL slot for 2023

The great debut of AEGIS, the formation of DFG and MisterMV, the return of Izi Dream and now ASUS BK ROG Esports, whose formalization had been leaked by Orelsan during his concert: it’s official, we now have the 10 teams that will be in the LFL in 2023. Riot gave this Wednesday evening the name of the last team to join the French LoL league for this new season. The three structures will respectively replace Misfits Premier, who left the scene following its takeover by Team Heretics in the LEC, Team Oplon and normally Mirage Elyandra.

It is moreover for the moment a slight vagueness at this level, since the third structure to leave the LFL has not been officially communicated, which means that the league currently has 11 teams to start the season. As for the BK ROG roster, no immediate announcement, we will probably have to wait until early January to find out more, but according to rumors circulating, we could find the jungler Pridestalkrthe mid laner Czecholad or the French support Veignorem.

We link you to our interview with the boss of the BK ROG structure which announced very early this year its desire to arrive in the LFL and to quickly experience, like the KC, an impressive career on the international scene. As a reminder, the structure arrived in early 2022 in Div.2 by buying the GamersOrigin Academy slot. But the oldest remember ROG Esportsstructure of the French scene between 2014 and 2019, which notably made top 3 in 2019.
