The Iweech 24”S had been our little favorite of the year 2021 in the category of urban electric bikes: agile, powerful, practical, enduring and intelligent, this VAE ticked enough boxes to award itself the excellent rating of 9/10. Be careful though, its price has since increased by 500 euros all the same.

For this 2022 vintage, the Marseille start-up Bellatrix has decided to strengthen its offer with an even more upscale version of its machine: welcome to the Iweech 24”S+, which offers itself for the occasion a brand new automatic transmission responding to the name of Enviolo Heavy Duty.

Enviolo is a known and recognized supplier in the world of e-bikes in terms of automatic transmission. Here, Iweech has selected the ultimate system, which by the way is more aimed at cargo bikes and long-distance use, if we trust the official Enviolo website.

Even more driving comfort

Here, the Enviolo Heavy Duty will work hand in hand with Iweech’s force sensor and algorithms. On the one hand, the sensor personalizes in real time the intensity of electric assistance that the user needs according to the force that he puts into the pedals.

On the other hand, the Enviolo system “automatically triggers the right level of gear ratio» depending on the pedaling rate or the inclination of the road. “It thus offers the ideal power combined with an optimum frequency and rhythm of pedaling.“, continues the French brand.

And to continue:The speed variations are ‘infinite’, imperceptible and absolutely fluid, controlled every 100 milliseconds by the intelligent system in perfect harmony with the level of motor assistance“. This aims to bring even more comfort and naturalness to your driving.

The advantage is that there is nothing to adjust: everything is done automatically. Moreover, the Iweech does not carry any screen or remote control on its handlebars, but falls back on a simple power button located on the upper tube of the frame.

On the rest, nothing changes: the bike still has the same removable 500 Wh battery giving it a range of 70 to 190 kilometers, a carbon belt, hydraulic disc brakes, a Brose T central motor with a torque of 90 Nm or a very powerful Supernova lamp.

Heavier on the scale

Weighing 20.8 kilos – compared to 18.5 kilos for the other version – this Iweech 24”S+ is suitable for users between 160 and 190 centimeters tall. The machine comes with some useful accessories, such as a tool kit, a kickstand, mudguards and an NFC tag. All at the price of 4190 euros all the same.

The bike is already available to order on the brand’s official website, in pearly white, anodized storm gray and matte black.
