J.K. Rowling has been in the midst of a media whirlwind since she revealed that she was the victim of domestic violence during her first marriage to Jorge Arantes. The author who is behindHarry potter also stated that she had been sexually assaulted without revealing the identity of her attacker to protect Jessica, now 27. The revelations came after a controversy over her controversial tweets on transgender people, where she noted that only women can menstruate.

Jorge Arantes, 52, was interviewed by the Sun and he doesn't regret being violent with J.K. Rowling. "JI slapped her but I didn't mistreat her. I regret nothing, "he said when the journalist asked him a few questions about his relationship with the famous novelist.

A violent scene following their break-up

The British site returned to an incredibly violent scene which took place while the couple was in the process of separation. J.K. Rowling wanted to leave the house with his daughter Jessica but Jorge Arantes did not hear it that way. "Joanne [J.K. Rowling's real name] refused to leave without Jessica, even though I told her that she could come and pick her up the next day. There was a violent altercation and I dragged her out of the house at 5 am and I admit to having slapped her violently in the street,"he told our colleagues.
