Ahead of the CES show, Jabra is already opening hostilities. The Danish brand has just launched its Elite 4 Active, a new model designed for sports practice which aims to become the best quality / price ratio in its category.
Jabra Elite 4 Active
Introductory price 120 €
The Elite 4 Active are presented by Jabra as an alternative solution, simpler and above all less expensive to the Elite 7 Active freshly marketed in September 2021. In a totally overloaded market, the Danish brand still intends to position its brand new headphones as a essential for sports music lovers.
The Elite 4 Active thus retain the new “drop of water” design of the new Elite line inaugurated a few months ago. Even if the frame of the headphones does not integrate any stabilizer, and they do not benefit either from the non-slip “ShakeGrip” coating of the Elite 7 Active, they still promise an assured support during sports practice. The Elite 4 Active maintains the IP57 certification, with the same two-year warranty against water and sweat. In terms of functionality, this brand new model is inserted between the Elite 3 and the Elite 7 Active: we therefore find active noise reduction (whose performance will most likely be close to that integrated in the Elite 75t Active) and the d mode. listening to surrounding noises, the level of which is customizable via the Jabra Sound + application, the latter also giving access to a graphic EQ to personalize the listening experience.
Regarding autonomy, the Elite 4 Active promise a duration of use of 7 hours per charge, the charging box providing in theory three additional charges. Audio reproduction is provided by two 6mm loudspeakers, while voice pickup (and active noise reduction) has a dual pair of MEMS microphones.
The Elite 4 are sold at a price of 120 €. They are available in three different colors: black, blue or mint.
