After her partner Clarke Gayford, Jacinda Ardern was also infected with Corona. She has been in isolation for a week.
Politician Jacinda Ardern (41) has tested positive for the corona virus. The New Zealand Prime Minister announced this on Instagram. She published a photo of a positive quick test on the social media platform.
“Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I have joined the rest of my family and have tested positive for Covid-19,” Ardern writes. The 41-year-old explains that she has been in isolation since May 8th. Her partner Clarke Gayford (45) tested positive last Sunday, and their daughter Neve (3) on Wednesday.
People should take good care of themselves
Ardern then got a “weakly positive” test result on Friday evening and a “strong” test result on Saturday morning. She very much regrets that she will not be able to be with the government in an important week, but wants to be in close contact with her team. In the coming days, among other things, the budget will be published.
The politician is also addressing everyone who is currently in isolation and fighting Covid 19 disease. She hopes that everyone affected takes good care of themselves.
