A 40-year-old from Wels changed the wheels of his car in a garage in Peuerbach on Saturday. Using a hydraulic jack, he first lifted the right front wheel and unscrewed the wheel nuts. But suddenly the car, which was not secured with a handbrake (automatic transmission), rolled backwards a bit. Neighbor rushed to help The result: the jack fell over, the Welser’s right arm was trapped between the right front tire and the right fender. However, the 40-year-old could not free himself from his painful situation. His mother (57) therefore got a neighbor (60) to help, who raised the car with a second jack and was able to free the injured person. The rescued was admitted to the Wels Clinic.
