With a video of her son’s wedding, Jaclyn Smith made “Charlie’s Angels” fans gasp.
The “Charlie’s Angels” actresses Jaclyn Smith (77) and Kate Jackson (74) celebrated the wedding of Smith’s son Gaston Richmond (41) together. In a clip in which Smith shared glimpses of the festivities, the pair stand side by side and chat. The recordings are also a sensation because Kate Jackson was last seen in public 14 years ago.
Two angels celebrate together
Jaclyn Smith shared photos and videos from her son’s wedding to Bonnie Lane on Wednesday (August 2) on her Instagram page. “There’s nothing better than family, and ours grew this weekend!” She looked back on the past few days. “I am so incredibly proud of my son Gaston and wish him and Bonnie a life of happiness.”
The ceremony took place in the lavishly decorated backyard of her Beverly Hills mansion. The fans of the 70s cult series were particularly interested in the recordings that appeared at the end of the clip: because Kate Jackson was to be discovered there. She has not been seen in public for 14 years. One of the last times she was photographed was at the funeral of Farrah Fawcett (1947-2009) in Los Angeles. Fawcett, Jackson and Smith formed the original cast of “Charlie’s Angels” in the 1970s and became world famous with the series.
The fans are over the moon
Jackson is seen sporting her signature shoulder-length bob haircut and sunglasses. In a beige blazer over a light blue shirt and white trousers, she looks comparatively casual next to her colleague, who is elegantly dressed in a mint green feather dress by Monique Lhuillier. Many fans discovered the short recordings and commented with sentences like “It’s so nice to see her” or “Kate Jackson hasn’t aged at all”.
