Tuesday December 5, 2023 marked the sixth anniversary of the death of Johnny Hallyday. Two days later, his two daughters, Jade and Joy Hallyday, whom he had with his wife, Laeticia Hallyday, granted an exclusive interview to the magazine Paris Match. The opportunity for the two young girls to return to the death of the man nicknamed the Taulierbut also to talk about their relationship with the other members of their family, namely, more particularly, Laura Smet and David Hallyday, and to discuss the violent criticism of which they are victims on social networks.
During their long interview with the media, Jade Hallyday also returned to his childhood with his father, Johnny Hallyday. She first reveals that their mother, Laeticia, was the stricter of the two parents: “Dad had the nice role, it was more mom who scolded us.” She then admits to having received numerous spankings when she was little: “So much, but I deserved them. I was a turbulent, insolent child, and nothing calmed my anger.” Now 19 years old, Jade Hallyday is now a much calmer young woman.
