Jaguar Land Rover wants to transform the software base of all its vehicles from 2025, by incorporating the Nvidia Drive platform. Three main areas are targeted: safety, autonomous driving and driver assistance systems. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not really go into the details.
The press release dwells more on Nvidia technologies and their field of intervention. For example, the DRIVE Orin system will oversee all vehicle computing, while the DRIVE AV and DRIVE IX software will manage safety systems, network security and environmental sensors.
