Jake Gyllenhaal has landed a role or two in Hollywood. Now he’s set to star in Cut and Run.
US actor Jake Gyllenhaal (41) will play the leading role in “Cut and Run”. The thriller follows thieves who rob super yachts – until they steal from the wrong people and get into trouble as a result.
For the rights to the script written by John Glenn (“Eagle Eye”) According to “Variety”, a real bidding war broke out. After several potential buyers showed interest in Glenn’s script, New Republic Pictures was able to prevail. The film will be produced by New Republic founder Brian Oliver and President Bradley Fischer, as well as Gyllenhaal’s in-house Nine Stories Productions.
