James Bond – No Time to Die: That is what the new trailer for the agent blockbuster suggests

The new trailer for "No Time to Die" stirs the anticipation of all "Bond" fans. He may also answer a few open questions.

On November 12th, the time has finally come in this country and Daniel Craig (52) will go on his last cinema mission as James Bond. To make it unmistakably clear to the starved film fans once again why they should not miss "No Time to Die" under any circumstances, Universal Pictures released an additional trailer. This not only promises more brutal action than in all previous "bonds", but also suggests an unthinkable alliance. Here are all the hints that one or the other might have slipped through.

The enemy of my archenemy is mine …?

"James, fate brought us together again. Now your opponent is also my opponent," says Bond nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz, 63) in the trailer. This should be the villain Safin, portrayed by Oscar winner Rami Malek (39). In the end, will the archenemies have to unite in order to master the newest villain?

In general, "No Time to Die" flirts more than ever with the characters' true sentiments, as Jeffrey Wright's (54) character Felix Leiter notes in a sequence in the trailer: "It's getting harder and harder for good and bad, villains and heroes to distinguish. " Above all, Paloma alias Ana de Armas (32) seems to be meant here, who can be seen directly after Wright's voice-over. The fact that she can be seen in the same evening dress throughout the trailer, on the other hand, could reveal that her role is much smaller than initially assumed – and that she has to die the typical Bondgirl death?

A villain like Thanos?

Some things are also revealed about the motivation of Bond's latest adversary: "He will kill millions of people," says his supposed double-zero partner Nomi (Lashana Lynch, 32), summarizing the – admittedly not unusual – intentions of the "Bond" villain. It is interesting, however, how Safin sums up his intentions: "James Bond. We both erase human lives to make the world a better place. I'm just doing it a little more thoroughly."

So he himself sees something good for humanity in his deeds. This reminds a little of Marvel villain Thanos from "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Endgame". He also said that he was doing the universe a favor by wiping out half of all life. In any case, Safin has another goal: "Revenge," says Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux, 35) in the new trailer. And said vengeance seems to be aimed at her.
