Actress Pamela Salem has died at the age of 80. They became known for roles in “Doctor Who” and “James Bond”. She will be remembered by many as Miss Moneypenny.
The British actress Pamela Salem (1944-2024) has died at the age of 80. This is reported by the “Daily Mail”, among others. Salem was known for her role as Miss Moneypenny in the “James Bond” film “Never Say Never Again”, in which she appeared alongside 007 Sean Connery (1930-2020) in 1983. She previously starred alongside Connery in the film “The Great Train Robbery” (1979).

In an interview she later said that the Hollywood star himself had gotten her the role of Miss Moneypenny. He is said to have positive memories of working with her in “The Great Train Robbery” and personally recommended her to the 007 producers.
Salem also had numerous TV appearances in series such as “EastEnders”, “General Hospital”, “Emergency Room” and “Doctor Who”.
She studied in Heidelberg
Pamela Salem was born in India and later studied at the University of Heidelberg and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She started her TV and film career in the early 1970s. Salem was married to actor Michael O’Hagan until his death in November 2017. The couple lived in Surfside, Florida, where Pamela Salem died on February 21, according to media reports.
