James “Jim” Belushi divorces his wife Jennifer. After 23 years of marriage, he submitted the documents to court on Friday.

Actor James “Jim” Belushi (67) has filed for divorce after more than 23 years of marriage. The celebrity portal “TMZ” reports. Accordingly, it is the second time in the last three years that he and his wife would want to end the marriage. Belushi presented the divorce papers to the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday. That would come from online records.

His wife filed for divorce in 2018

In 2018, his wife Jennifer wanted and also applied for a divorce, but a year later there was reconciliation. The marriage did not end. At that time it was said in the documents that “irreconcilable differences” were the reason for the separation. What has now led to the renewed filing for divorce is still completely unclear.

Jim and Jennifer married in May 1998 and have two adult children together. For Jim, this wedding was the third in his life. He was previously married to Marjorie Bransfield from 1990 to 1992 and to Sandra Davenport from 1980 to 1988, with whom he has another son. James Belushi is the brother of the late “Blues Brothers” icon John Belushi (1949-1982).
