James Bond role is out of the question for him

Jamie Dornan has long been talked about as James Bond. But after “50 Shades of Gray” the Irishman is no longer interested in film series.
The film adaptations of the erotic novels “50 Shades of Gray” made actor Jamie Dornan (39) in his role as Christian Gray an acting star and sex symbol worldwide. Not least because of this, Dornan is currently considered one of the favorites to slip into the role of the legendary James Bond. But in an interview with “Picture on Sunday” The Irish actor rejects this plan: “I will never act in a film series again.”
Dornan wants to be more than Gray
On the one hand, Dornan expresses gratitude for the great success of the “50 Shades” films and says: “It’s actually a cool thing. I consider myself very lucky that I had the chance to experience that. A lot of actors really want to be part of a Being a film series because, first of all, it’s very helpful financially and it’s prestige cool to go back to a character, especially when it’s been so successful.”
On the other hand, Dornan doesn’t want to be reduced to a specific role, which is especially true for his career breakthrough as Christian Grey: “Of course I hope that the career lasts long enough that I’m not reduced to a role that I once played at the beginning played in my career.”
