Jamie Foxx accused of sexual assault: Django Unchained star prosecuted


Jamie Foxx, Oscar winner for Ray and famous for Django Unchained and Collateral, is accused of sexual assault.

American actor Jamie Foxx, 55, Oscar winner for his performance in Ray, is accused of sexual assault by a woman who wished to remain anonymous. The facts allegedly took place during an evening in New York in 2015.

According to information relayed by Variety, the star of Django and Collateral is being sued by the Supreme Court of the State of New York after a complaint from the alleged victim. The latter accuses Jamie Foxx of having “slid his hands into her underwear and placed his fingers in her vagina and anus.”

During this evening in August 2015, the complainant allegedly asked the actor for a photo around 1 a.m. The latter then allegedly made advances towards her before taking her to an isolated corner. According to the complaint, a security guard witnessed the scene but did not intervene. It was a friend of the complainant who allegedly stopped the attack and removed Jamie Foxx.

He was also nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Collateral with Tom Cruise. The actor also made an impression in Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino’s western.
