Oscar winner is sued for sexual harassment

There are serious allegations against Jamie Foxx. A woman claims he sexually harassed her. The case is now going to court.
Oscar winner Jamie Foxx (55) has to answer in court for alleged sexual harassment. According to court documents, which should also be available to “People” magazine, among others. A woman claims that she was sexually harassed by the actor in a New York restaurant in 2015. It is said that he “intentionally and without her consent touched her offensively using force”. The New York Supreme Court is now considering the matter.
According to the plaintiff, the incident occurred in the Catch NYC restaurant. She entered the location and saw one of the restaurant founders drinking with Foxx “a table away.” At around 1 a.m., she and a friend went to Foxx and the restaurant manager to ask for a photo together. Foxx replied: “Sure, baby, I’ll do anything for you.” The two then took “several photos”. The indictment goes on to say that Foxx left a “tipsy impression.”

After the photos, the actor said to her, among other things: “Wow, you have a supermodel body” and “You smell good.” A short time later, Foxx grabbed her arm and dragged her to the back of the restaurant, according to the allegations. There he allegedly touched her inappropriately in the genital area and on her breasts, even though she tried to break away from him. A security guard would have observed the scene but would not have helped her. Her friend was outside the restaurant at the time.
She was injured by Jamie Foxx’s alleged actions and had to seek medical treatment and counseling. She was then no longer able to carry out her usual and regular activities. The result of the alleged sexual assault was “permanent injury and emotional suffering.” Foxx’s “despicable behavior” also caused “economic damage” that she now wants to have compensated.
In addition to Foxx, the restaurant’s operating company is also being sued. The company is partly to blame because the plaintiff was not helped. Employees were hired negligently and were not adequately trained and supervised. A statement from Jamie Foxx or the restaurant operators has not yet been made regarding the allegations.
