Proud sum: The Mercedes of the Hamburg cult actor Jan Fedder has been auctioned for almost 100,000 euros.

The legendary Mercedes Heckflosse 220 SEB of the late “Großstadtrevier” star Jan Fedder (1955-2019) brought in 97,050 euros at an auction on Ebay. “I’m totally overwhelmed,” said Marion Fedder on Monday the radio station NDR 90.3. She didn’t expect so much money. The identity of the buyer is not yet known.

Fedder was not only privately behind the wheel of the Mercedes. In his prime role as policeman Dirk Matthies, Fedder also regularly drove the car in the popular evening series “Großtstadtrevier”.

The money goes to the St. Michaelis Church in Hamburg

The proceeds of the auction will go to the St. Michaelis Church in Hamburg. The actor had always felt closely connected to the so-called Michel. Jan Fedder was baptized and confirmed there, and his wedding also took place there.

Marion Fedder explained that the church and its more than 60 employees were struggling extremely with the increased energy costs. “And we want to have a warm, beautiful, glowing Christmas at the Michel.” She had previously auctioned off other possessions from the actor’s estate. For example, a Ford Explorer raised more than 60,000 euros two years ago.
