Jane Birkin stayed an hour and a half on stage despite her poor physical condition

The singer thus returned to the stage on January 8, 2022 in Maison-Alfort, in the Val-de-Marne, after a long absence. The public welcomed her very warmly that day. Jane Birkin had planned a tour comprising around forty concerts until the summer of 2022, with a date on the stage of the Philharmonie de Paris on September 18, 2022, to end on a high note. Recently, the former companion of Serge Gainsbourg was one of the headliners of the 99th Festival de Cornouaille, which took place in Quimper. She therefore performed on stage on Saturday July 23, 2022. However, Jane Birkin’s performance was not the most spectacular. The Franco-British singer appeared rather weakened on the stage of the Cornouaille Festival that day, as reported by the local daily West France.

Three days earlier, the musician had even had to cancel a concert, which was to take place in Haute-Saône. Throughout his performance in front of the public, Jane Birkin remained motionless in the middle of the stage, while regularly leaning on a stool, throughout his concert.
