Jane Fonda has revealed a disturbing MeToo story: A director wanted to sleep with her to see her orgasm for a role.

Hollywood legend Jane Fonda (85) revealed a disturbing MeToo story on a US talk show. On the show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Fonda was asked by host Andy Cohen, 54, about a filmmaker from her past who had attempted to sleep with her. The two-time Oscar winner named the legendary French director René Clément (1913-1996).

Jane Fonda: “He had to see my orgasm”

Fonda went on to say that during the making of Joy House, Clément wanted to sleep with her on the grounds that her role in the film was having an orgasm, and therefore he personally had to experience her very real sexual climax. Fonda was 27 at the time of filming and Clément was 51.

However, Fonda skilfully ignored the unwanted advances of her director. “He said it in French and I pretended not to understand it”, explains the acting legend in a clip available on YouTube. Fonda was seen alongside Alain Delon (87) in “Joy House”. It was the actress’s first French film production, which is currently being shown in German cinemas in the comedy “Book Club – A New Chapter”.
