Jane Powell, the star of “A Bride for Seven Brothers,” has died. The Hollywood actress was 92 years old.

Jane Powell is dead. The actress who became a star through Hollywood musicals, died according to the “New York Times” at the age of 92. She became known in the 1940s, among other things with her appearance in “Ball in the Embassy”.

In “A Bride for Seven Brothers” Powell, who was on stage as a child, appeared with Howard Keel (1919-2004), in “Royal Wedding” she played alongside Fred Astaire (1899-1987). She was later seen on Broadway and on television.

Five marriages

Powell was married five times. Their first four marriages ended in divorce. Her fifth husband died in 2015. According to US media reports, the actress leaves behind son Geary Anthony Steffen III, daughters Suzanne Steffen and Lindsay Cavalli and two grandchildren.
