Jane Seymour has recently been in a new relationship. That’s how she met her boyfriend John Zambetti.
Actress Jane Seymour (72) has recently been happily in a relationship with her new partner John Zambetti. A week ago, the “Dr. Quinn” star made new love public on Instagram. Now the couple is revealing how they met. “Our children set us up,” Seymour and Zambetti confessed to People magazine on the red carpet of a gala event over the weekend. “So we certainly don’t have to worry about the kids not being okay with who we’re with,” Zambetti added. It makes him “very happy” to be with Seymour.
Both sons are called Johnny and are musicians
The actress revealed that the musician had already written her some love songs. “He’s a songwriter. I think that’s what convinced me in the end,” said the former Bond girl. The fact that their sons are both musicians is what brought them together. “His son is a very successful rock musician in a band called The Palms. His name is Johnny Zambetti,” Seymour explained in an interview with People. “And I have a son who’s also a rock musician – Johnny Keach. So when we talk about them we say ‘My Johnny’ because they both have the same name.”
Music is also an important part of their relationship. Zambetti said he has a lot of musician friends in Los Angeles. “We enjoy going to their concerts.” Seymour “never really went to the dive bars” where, in his opinion, the “real musicians” played. She loves going there with him and he enjoys showing her the sides of Los Angeles that she didn’t know before.
Jane Seymour and her turbulent love life
Jane Seymour has a total of four children from two different marriages. Her marriage to David Flynn includes daughter Katherine Flynn (41) and son Sean Flynn (38). From his marriage to James Keach are the twins John Stacy “Johnny” and Kristopher Keach (27). The actress has been married four times in total: Before Flynn (1981 to 1992) and Keach (1993 to 2015) to Michael Attenborough (from 1971 to 1973) and Geoffrey Planer (1977 to 1978). She was most recently in a long-term relationship with producer David Green (74).
With Zambetti by her side, she is currently experiencing the happiest time of her life, Seymour repeated on the red carpet. Dating someone over 70 is “absolutely fantastic”. Every month they would celebrate their relationship. “At this time in life, you don’t want to wait 50 years.”
