Birthday surprise for mom and dad: Yoko, the daughter of Janni Hönscheid (29) and Peer Kusmagk (45), took her first steps on time for her first birthday. The proud mom shared a video on Instagram showing her daughter's little taps. Yoko, who is turning one today, runs up to her mother in it.

On the beach, the one-year-old moves cautiously and somewhat uncertainly towards her mom – and after a few small steps falls into Hönscheid's arms. Her two-year-old brother Emil-Ocean stands by and watches the spectacle on the beach. To the sweet clip, the surfer wrote: "Just in time for your 1st birthday, you are taking the first steps in this world. Through the sand, by the sea, in the golden light."
Actor Peer Kusmagk and professional surfer Janni Hönscheid got to know and love each other on the RTL show "Adam sucht Eva – Promis in Paradies" in 2016. Söhnchen Emil-Ocean was born in August 2017; daughter Yoko followed last year. The family currently lives on Sylt.
