These fukubukuro are surprise bags, the contents of which can sometimes be worth much more than their retail price. Among the brands that participate in this tradition each year is a famous Japanese retrogaming store that collectors and nostalgic gamers are familiar with.

A surprise bag to demote wealthy people
This year again, the brand offered fukubukuro of various values on January 1st. “Lodoss, “the YouTuber in question here, therefore got the one for one million yen. Based on the current exchange rate, that’s about 7,700 euros.
