He has also been the subject of several fan theories. One of the most famous is that he was actually a Sith Lord. Big news for aficionados: this completely crazy idea is becoming a reality.
While Disney+ has just revealed images of its new LEGO Star Wars special issue, entitled Rebuild the Galaxy, a dark Jar Jar Binks is revealed at the end of the trailer in front of a character’s stunned reaction.
Even the legendary interpreter of Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill, shared his reaction on his official X (Twitter) account: “You had me at dark Jar Jar.”
Other important information: actor Ahmed Best, who lent his voice to the character since The Phantom Menace in 1999, is returning to service for this new project. The real question everyone is asking now is this: how did Jar Jar Binks end up joining the dark side?
To understand, you have to look at the pitch for this special LEGO issue, which will be made up of four episodes. The story centers on a shepherd, named Sig, who deconstructs the Star Wars universe when he unearths an artifact hidden in a Jedi temple. From then on, all the constructions of the galaxy mix.
