"Yes, it's true, I'll play Andy Warhol in an upcoming film," wrote the 48-year-old on the social media platform alongside several photos of Warhol. He was very "grateful" for the opportunity and also extremely "excited", can be read in the post. Leto added a belated birthday greeting to the artist who died more than 30 years ago. "We miss you and your creative spirit," he wrote about Warhol, who would have celebrated his 92nd birthday on Thursday (August 6th).
