An announcement that took everyone by surprise. This Thursday, April 4, Jarry took to his Instagram account to share big news with his fans. The person concerned indicated that he was leaving the presentation of Everyone wants to take its place, daily show broadcast on France 2, which he has presented since the summer of 2023. Only one year after his arrival, the one who succeeded Laurence Boccolini therefore decided to give up his place. “I made the decision to stop presenting the show Everyone wants to take its place, which is a great show where I had an incredible year. I loved the exercise. I loved the Effervescence teams. I thank France 2 again for this superb opportunity“, indicated Jarry.
The comedian then explained his decision: “You know that next year, I will be on the Zénith tour, in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Canada. I would need a lot of energy“, he justified himself, specifying that being at the helm of a daily show “takes a lot of time” : “I saw very little my children this year and so I decided to have all this energy for you, the public“, he announced, specifying that he would “finish the season for a few more months”, before “concentrating on (s)our show.“

Unsurprisingly, Jarry’s announcement came as a shock to many of his fans. This Thursday, April 4, many of them have reacted to the departure of the host of Everyone wants to take its place : “It’s going to be complicated to replace you. You raised the level of the show very high“, “Too bad. I’ve never loved the show this much since it was all about it. But that’s understandable. Difficult to be everywhere at once” or “Nooooooooooooooooonn… It was so different with you, so fresh and generous… The new host is going to have to struggle to keep up with you“, we could read in the comments.
