“I have to drop a bomb”

Willi Herren died in April at the age of 45. Now widow Jasmin speaks about the suspected cause of death and dropped another bomb.
Jasmin Herren (42) speaks up again after the death of her husband Willi Herren (1975-2021). In an interview with the ProSieben magazine “Red” she now cleared up some ambiguities. The two were officially separated, but that didn’t quite correspond to reality, said Herren: “The truth about the separation – unfortunately I have to burst a little bomb: Willi and I lied. We didn’t intend to get together separate.”
They just thought of a new way and wanted to forge a common plan for the future. The two had already looked around for a house or an apartment. A complete move to Mallorca was also considered and was “likely”, explains Herren.
Pill addiction and heart problems
According to Jasmin Herren, the surprising death of Willi Herren did not take Jasmin Herren completely unprepared: “If I’m honest, I always had a little bit in the back of my mind that this might happen at some point.” Although the official cause of death has not yet been determined, according to Jasmin Herren, an addiction could have been the cause.
“It was his pill problem!” Speculates Jasmin Herren. They spoke openly about the risk of his life if he continued like this: “I found pills in my trouser pocket and said: ‘Willi, is this going again?'” In addition, Jasmin Herren continues, her husband has had a heart problem and known about it since late 2020. That’s why he always had a blood pressure monitor with him, but “just didn’t use it”.
