Jasmin Wagner has been the mother of a daughter for a good six months. On GALA on TV, she reveals that her mother and partner help her when she’s on stage. And she still sometimes has contact with her ex Lucas Cordalis.
In November 2022, Jasmin Wagner, 43, became a mother for the first time. Since then, the “Blümchen” singer has been very fond of her daughter, whose name she does not reveal, she would like to have with her at all times. Of course that’s not possible, because Jasmin is well booked, performs as a musician, tries to manage the balancing act between being a mom and being on stage. Who is helping her? Mama Marija, who lives with Jasmin and her partner for two weeks a month, as revealed by presenter Annika Lau, 44, on GALA on RTL. In addition, “Blümchen” chats about how she met the Danish fashion entrepreneur and in which moments she is still in contact with her ex Lucas Cordalis, 55.
Jasmin Wagner’s mother Marija has moved in with her
“I really never want to get rid of the child,” enthuses Jasmin Wagner about her seven-month-old baby, who was about to eat porridge. When others say to her: “Come on, should I take the child now?”, she only answers: “No, that’s fine”. She was “just really happy to be with my daughter. There is nothing better than falling asleep with her and waking up,” continued “Blümchen”.
Nevertheless, it is also a challenge to jump back and forth between the changing table and the stage. For performances, her mother and partner would come along. “So we have family trips,” says Jasmin happily. But that only works so well because she has “a chilled baby”: “It’s nice for her that there are a lot of people there. She really blossoms there!” In order to be able to cope with everyday life at home, her mother lives with the family of three for two weeks a month.
The child should be well taken care of when I’m away from her for 2-3 hours, it’s never longer,
like Wagner. An emotional development, because now she’s getting to know her mother “for the first time. […] And I learn things from my mother that I didn’t even know. I could cry right away because my mother is now becoming something like my girlfriend.”
That’s how she met her partner
Her partner, who does not want to go public, also supports Jasmin Wagner. She explains:
He is proud of me and supports me. But his support means that if I have a concert, he would take care of our baby. But he basically leaves me alone on this playing field.
By this Wagner means that he supports her role in public, but does not want to appear there himself.
The couple, who have been together for two and a half years and have been engaged since January 2023, met “through a blind date”. It was arranged by a mutual friend, “because she thought we would be a perfect match. We still don’t know how she knew that, but we’ve been together ever since,” says Jasmin happily.

In an interview with Annika Lau, Jasmin Wagner also reveals the moments when she would seek contact with her ex Lucas Cordalis. “Well, we’re not constantly exchanging blows, but if something happens, then of course I would ask: “Are you okay?” That’s what happened when Lucas’ father Costa Cordalis died in 2019 at the age of 75. Wagner remembers : “On the death of his father I have [ihm] written.”
In addition, she “still has contact with his sister Kiki, who is a little closer.” Overall, the four years from 1997 to 2001, in which Lucas and Jasmin were together, were “a totally beautiful, formative time”. It is still “very important to her that he is doing well.”
