In an interview during Berlin Fashion Week, singer Jasmin Wagner talks about sport during pregnancy and planned projects.

Jasmin Wagner (42) proudly shows off her baby bump when she visits the VIP Beauty & Fashion Lounge by Reichert+ Communications during Berlin Fashion Week. After her concert tour through six countries, the singer is now taking it easy – but despite being pregnant in the 7th month, she does not give up work and sports. In an interview, she reveals how much break she allows herself after the birth.

Dear Jasmine, the birth is fast approaching, how are you feeling?

Jasmin Wagner: I am extremely happy and really enjoy the individual stages of pregnancy.

Despite having a baby bump, you are regularly on stage, have landed a new moderation project and are now attending Fashion Week Berlin. Where do you get the energy from?

Wagner: It’s just there. My baby makes me even stronger. And my work fulfills me and gives me a lot in return.

How much do you enjoy being pampered in the VIP Beauty & Fashion Lounge?

Wagner: It’s just wonderful, because I’ve had a whole summer of festivals in the tour bus behind me. I have given around 70 concerts in six countries and sung for over 250,000 people. Being pampered from head to toe here in the beauty & fashion lounge is of course a great reward.

Which beauty treatment are you particularly looking forward to?

Wagner: I am particularly looking forward to the presentation of the new products from L’Oréal Paris and the new series from Dr. Niedermaier Regulatpro Collagen. I also booked a facial treatment at Venya & V.Sun.

Skin and hair change a lot during pregnancy. How have you changed your beauty and styling habits?

Wagner: I’m lucky, the skin on my face is rosy and my hair is shiny and full. I now focus on taking care of my body and use high quality oils to take care of myself during pregnancy.

And what about fashion? What is your favorite thing to wear at the moment?

Wagner: I mix maternity styles with oversized blazers. By the seventh month I got by with the contents of my closet. Today in the lounge, I will also be happy to use the styling options from Gobi Cashmere, Cotton Candy and Groundies.

You seem to be one of those enviable women who only gain weight on their stomachs?

Wagner: My body is changing, but I celebrate it.

Do you also exercise during pregnancy?

Wagner: Definitely. If everything goes normally, nothing speaks against sport. Of course, my training plan has changed. It’s good for me to move, to strengthen my back and my stamina.

What do you enjoy most about being pregnant?

Wagner: Feeling the movements of the child is pretty much the most magical feeling in the world.

How long do you plan to take a break from your career after giving birth?

Wagner: I can’t put a number on that exactly. I take a reasonable amount of time off and depending on how we get on as a family, work is integrated again. In addition to the offspring, I’m looking forward to my new show “Volles Haus” on Sat.1, which I’ll be moderating together with the charming Jochen Schropp.
