He has his doubts about playing Aquaman again

Jason Momoa would like to play Aquaman for a long time, but apparently things aren’t looking good at the moment.
In a few days Jason Momoa (44) will start a new adventure as Aquaman in the cinema. But he apparently doesn’t believe that he will return to the role of superhero again after this. This is what the Hollywood star says Conversation with “Entertainment Tonight”.
A chance for Jason Momoa?
“I don’t necessarily want it to be the end,” Momoa explains. But he also believes that there is “not really a choice.” DC Studios bosses James Gunn (57) and Peter Safran (58) are in the process of reshaping the superhero universe. They “want to start their own new thing,” as the actor calls it.
Momoa is clear that he has a chance, but the whole thing depends on the film fans. “The truth is, if the audience loves it, then there’s a possibility” of him playing Aquaman again. “But right now I’m thinking, ‘It’s not looking too good.'”
Jason Momoa loves his role
Momoa loves the character and would like to play the superhero “for a long time,” he says. The actor can imagine where the journey could go – even over a longer period of ten years. “If there is a place for me in your world, I would like to be part of it,” says the Hollywood star. “This is my home. Warner and DC are definitely my home. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Before Gunn and Safran think about a possible sequel, they will probably first wait and see how well “Aquaman: Lost Kingdom” is received. The new film by director James Wan (46) will be in cinemas in Germany on December 21st. If you look at the box office results of the predecessor “Aquaman” from 2018, Momoa may have no reason to worry. The DC film adaptation brought in more than $1.1 billion.
