This is an unexpected project, which will be written by Stallone himself, but in which he is not expected to star. Jason Statham will play the leading role of Levon Cade, a repentant criminal working in construction.
When his boss’s daughter, Jenny, disappears, he is called to reuse the skills that made him a legendary figure in the world of covert operations…
According to Deadline, which reports this information, the production of this film, entitled Levon’s Trade, will be entrusted to David Ayer. The latter is none other than the director of Suicide Squad, or even Fury.
He also recently directed another film with Jason Statham, entitled The Beekeeper, and as yet without a release date for us. The film tells a story of one man’s revenge, which takes on a national dimension after he is revealed to be a former agent of a powerful underground organization known as the “Beekeepers”.

Filming on Levon’s Trade is expected to begin in spring 2024 in London.
Note that this film will mark the return to the script of Sylvester Stallone, his last scripts dating back to Rambo: Last Blood in 2019 and Creed II in 2018. Levon’s trade is precisely an adaptation of a comic book by Chuck Dixon, the first in a series of successful comics across the Atlantic. As Deadline specifies, this project was initially conceived as a series, but will ultimately be a feature film.
