Jay Leno has been discharged from the hospital after his fire accident. Relief is written all over his face in one photo.

Jay Leno (72) has been released from the clinic. On a photo, which West Hills Hospital published on Instagram, the legendary US talk show host can be seen surrounded by five clinic employees. All six beam into the camera. Large scars can be seen on Leno’s neck and arm. The scars on his chest are covered by his loose denim shirt.

“It has been a pleasure caring for Jay Leno and we wish him a speedy recovery,” the Grossman Burn Center commented on the photo. dr Peter Grossman added according to US media in a statement, “I am pleased with Jay’s progress and am optimistic that he will make a full recovery.”

Garage fire with serious consequences

Leno suffered second- and third-degree burns in a fire in his Burbank garage in mid-November. Skin grafts were then necessary. After a 10-day stay at the special facility, Leno is now being transferred to the Grossman Burns Outpatient Unit, where he will receive continued care.

Jay Leno is best known as the host of The Tonight Show. The comedian took over the role of talk show host from Johnny Carson (1925-2005) in 1992 and ran the show until 2009. Leno was briefly followed by Conan O’Brien (59) until Leno returned to the show in 2010 and moderated it until 2014. Since then, Jimmy Fallon (48) has hosted the “Tonight Show”.
