Jay Shetty lived as a monk in an ashram
His journey to get there is remarkable. At 22, the young Londoner with Indian roots realizes that his life is going in the wrong direction. He drops out of business school, shaves his head and sets off to live as a monk in India. Shetty encourages people to become uncomfortable raising issues: “That’s where love grows.” He also advises: Go to the love TÜV! “Do a sentiment inspection. And then check the status quo – could you be happier?” But most importantly: “Please don’t stay the way you are! Always be open to change.” Because wisdom is not only valid in love matters.
