Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, 30, and her boyfriend recently showed up again: They attended a charity event in Beverly Hills together and made a radiant appearance on the red carpet. The illegitimate daughter of Prince Albert, 64, had previously withdrawn from social media, and her partner Ian Mellencamp’s Instagram account has also been radio silent for several months – until now.

Ian Mellencamp posts a picture of himself shirtless in bed. A long scar can be seen on his chest. “I did it! I know I’ve been holding back on social media lately and I plan to share more of my journey over the past few months,” writes the musician.

First of all, however, he wanted to thank “everyone for their support” and enter into dialogue with his followers. Because he wants to “help anyone who has questions or concerns about open-heart surgery, the preparation and the recovery process”. He keeps to himself exactly why he had to have heart surgery himself, but gives a small health update: “The operation and my recovery went extremely well!” Encouraging words that should calm his fans a little: His 10,000 followers wish him a speedy recovery.

The couple’s social media break

Jazmin Grace Grimaldi delighted her community almost every day with snapshots of her everyday life. So she stunned her fans when she almost deleted all of her Instagram posts in February. “Social media hiatus for February and maybe even longer [sic]”, she wrote in her story. The break continues to this day.

The daughter of the Monegasque prince probably stood by her partner during this difficult time. In addition to Mellencamp’s recent health update, the couple’s performance in Beverly Hills on April 19, 2022 suggests the musician has recovered from the hardship.
