JCDecaux: 2022 revenue up 16.6% organically – 01/26/2023 at 6:06 pm


(CercleFinance.com) – JCDecaux publishes adjusted revenue of 3,316.5 ME for the 2022 financial year, i.e. organic growth of 16.6% compared to 2021.

The activity was driven by “significant growth in digital turnover (+41.1% over the year 2022 for Digital Outdoor Communication, editor’s note) and a still strong commercial dynamic”, specifies Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Management Board and Co-Chief Executive Officer of JCDecaux.

Organically, business grew in street furniture (+18.5%), as well as in transport (+15%) and billboards (+13.5%).

Furthermore, apart from the Asia-Pacific region (-2.4%), business grew in 2022 in all geographic areas (Europe +20.2%, France +12.1%, Rest of the world +36, 4%, UK +26.3%, North America +45.5%).

In the 4th quarter, adjusted revenue increased by 5.1% on an organic basis, to reach €1,033 million.
