(Boursier.com) — JCDecaux announces that its Estonian subsidiary JCDecaux Eesti OÜ has won an exclusive 21-year advertising street furniture contract in Tallinn (452,000 inhabitants), capital of Estonia. This contract includes the installation and maintenance of 1,200 bus shelters, 34 self-maintaining toilets and 141 free-standing urban information displays (MUPI). In the bustling city center of Tallinn, part of the media offer will be digitalised. Mihhail Kolvart, Mayor of the City of Tallinn, said: “This call for tenders was a first in Estonia, because as the client, we prioritized aesthetics and the quality of infrastructure over revenue. By working with JCDecaux Eesti OÜ, which won the contract, our goal was to have high quality street furniture, suitable for passengers and specially designed for Tallinn”.
