(Boursier.com) — JCDecaux SE has signed a global strategic partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to support the “Joint United Nations SDG Fund”, a fund intended to accelerate the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to worldwide.

In contact with more than 850 million people daily and faithful to its mission to sustainably improve the quality of life for the greatest number of citizens, JCDecaux practices and promotes responsible external communication and acts in favor of Great Causes since its creation, by offering numerous local or international associations and NGOs mobilizing in favor of the SDGs, campaigns on its street furniture and advertising devices. Promoting responsible external communication is one of the 6 commitments of the CSR Strategy for 2030 unveiled last May by JCDecaux, implying in particular that since 2022, the Group’s subsidiaries undertake to apply its Code of Ethics for External Communication and support one or more UN SDGs.

JCDecaux, through its partnership with the Joint Fund for the SDGs, is committed to making outdoor communication a decisive lever for promoting the SDGs. After signing the United Nations Global Compact in November 2015, JCDecaux continues, with this new agreement, its commitment to human rights and is committed to a concrete policy of support for Great Causes throughout the world.
