(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the creation of a joint venture, Extime Media, by Aéroports de Paris (ADP) and JCDecaux.
Extime Media will operate and market advertising devices located at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget airports (in France), at Antalya and Bodrum-Milas airports (in Turkey), as well as at Queen Alia airport in Amman (Jordan).
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, given the very limited activities of Extime Media in the European Economic Area.
