This third convoy since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which set off around 10 a.m. from the Villabé logistics platform, includes 115 tonnes of equipment, offered by a thousand local authorities and fifty companies. .

In particular, there are six fire vehicles, as many ambulances, nine civil protection vehicles, more than 20,000 food rations or 56,000 liters of product to fight against hydrocarbon fires.

Transported by dozens of civil protection personnel hailed by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, these vehicles will notably be used to put out fires, take care of people extracted from the rubble or evacuate the wounded, according to Stéphane Romatet, director of the Crisis and Support Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After a journey through Europe, the set will be delivered to Ukraine at the border with Romania, within 48 to 72 hours.
