Our colleagues from Parisian revealed, this Saturday, January 15, that Jean-Jacques Bourdin was the subject of a complaint for attempted sexual assault. According to the alleged victim, who prefers to remain anonymous, the facts took place in the swimming pool of a hotel in Calvi, Corsica, during a petange competition in 2013. If the journalist from BFMTV and RMC recognizes being bathed with the plaintiff, he firmly denies having tried to kiss her by force. This Monday, January 17, it is Anne Nivat, writer and wife of Jean-Jacques Bourdin, who breaks the silence and reacts to these accusations.
Invited on the antenna of France Inter to talk about her new novel, Anne Nivat was questioned very quickly about this affair by Sonia Devillers. “How do you react?”, asked the latter very simply. Answer from the one who has shared the life of Jean-Jacques Bourdin for many years: “Well… How do you expect me to react? Jean-Jacques and I have talked a lot about all this. These are intimate discussions so I will not reveal their content to anyone publicly. to fuel the media buzz”. Anne Nivat also wanted to make some details about her presence in the media in the coming weeks. “It’s pure coincidence that the promotion of my book, that is to say a moment when I find myself in the media, coincides with what happened this weekend. I would promote myself and talk about my book”, she assures.

Former journalist of BFMTV, the alleged victim of Jean-Jacques Bourdin therefore waited eight years before filing a complaint. With our colleagues from Parisian, she explains this choice. “Today, I am calm, calm. But for years, I went to work with fear in my stomach, completely stressed. I file a complaint with the conviction that other women are concerned and that this will perhaps allow to free the voice of other women”, she explains. Still according to information from our colleagues, two other women could testify for similar facts in the next few days.
