Jean-Marc Morandini: this program that he will relaunch on C8 at the start of the school year

After ten years on the NRJ12 channel, Jean-Marc Morandini returns to C8. According to Var-Matin, the host will relaunch one of his cult programs there.

A surprise return! Ten years after leaving Direct 8, Jean-Marc Morandini will return to the channel, now called C8. According Var-Morning indeed, the host will relaunch one of his programs on the antenna of the channel of the Canal + group: Retrouvailles. “Two new test numbers are planned for the start of the school year in the first part of the evening”have informed our colleagues. This show, launched in February 2020 on NRJ12, had been canceled by the channel a few months ago. “The management of NRJ12 told us, 6 days ago very precisely, that they did not want to renew this program, to save money and sacrifice this program, explained Jean-Marc Morandini to viewers. I think there were certainly other things to sacrifice before in this program schedule, things that don’t really get audiences!”

“In any case, it is the choice of NRJ 12 and needless to say that I regret this decision and I disagree with this decision taken by management.had regretted the facilitator. NRJ is making choices and Retrouvailles is not one of them, too bad. This show, I love it, and if NRJ12 doesn’t want it… well, we’ll do it elsewhere.” It is therefore on C8 that Retrouvailles will be reborn at the start of the next school year. After ten years on the air at NRJ12, he will leave the channel this Friday, July 15. “For 10 years, I was able to host live hundreds of programs as different as each other at midday, in access and as a bonus.he wrote on his blog. These programs have made it possible to highlight, with the insight of experts, a large number of legal cases and miscellaneous facts, by giving a voice to all the parties.

Jean-Marc Morandini will continue to collaborate with NRJ12

“I thank NRJ 12 and the viewers for their loyalty throughout this decade”, added Jean-Marc Morandini who signed a non-disparagement clause with NRJ12 when leaving his post, according to Var-Matin. Jean-Marc Morandini will continue, on NRJ12, “the production of new issues of Crimes Hebdo and Heritage next season for NRJ12NRJ 12 and Chérie 25”, without being on the air. The facilitator also prepares “a new series of programs for NRJ12”. On Twitter, the presenter announced that he was going to collaborate with Canal: “It will be CNews of course with Morandini Live! next year and, to tell you the truth, negotiations are advanced to do other things on the Canal+ Group channels”.
