A surprise return! Ten years after leaving Direct 8, Jean-Marc Morandini will return to the channel, now called C8. According Var-Morning indeed, the host will relaunch one of his programs on the antenna of the channel of the Canal + group: Retrouvailles. “Two new test numbers are planned for the start of the school year in the first part of the evening”have informed our colleagues. This show, launched in February 2020 on NRJ12, had been canceled by the channel a few months ago. “The management of NRJ12 told us, 6 days ago very precisely, that they did not want to renew this program, to save money and sacrifice this program, explained Jean-Marc Morandini to viewers. I think there were certainly other things to sacrifice before in this program schedule, things that don’t really get audiences!”

Jean-Marc Morandini will continue, on NRJ12, “the production of new issues of Crimes Hebdo and Heritage next season for NRJ12NRJ 12 and Chérie 25”, without being on the air. The facilitator also prepares “a new series of programs for NRJ12”. On Twitter, the presenter announced that he was going to collaborate with Canal: “It will be CNews of course with Morandini Live! next year and, to tell you the truth, negotiations are advanced to do other things on the Canal+ Group channels”.
