Luana Belmondo shared a rare video of her mother-in-law Elodie Constantin on Instagram this Thursday. Jean-Paul Belmondo’s first wife spent a special moment with her great-grandson Vahé.
Family reunions for Belmondo. Alessandro Belmondo and his companion Meline Ristiguian had a special time with the grandmother of their little one Vahe this Thursday. In effect, Luana Belmondo shared a rare video of a clan personality Belmondo rarely seen: Elodie Constantinwho is none other than the first wife of John Paul Belmondo. In the images, we see the family reunited, all smiles, and the great-grandmother having a special time with the baby born last April.
It was in the early 1950s that Jean-Paul Belmondo met Elodie Constantin. They are then both at the National Conservatory of Paris. Together they will have three children: Patricia born in 1953, Florence in 1960, and Paul in 1963. In 1959, before the birth of their second daughter, they married. But six years later, it’s the tragedy. In 1965, he decided to leave his wife and children after filming and settled down with one of the sex symbols of the 1960s.
Dramas that shook the Belmondos
In the pages of the magazine Gala, Paul Belmondo had returned during this complicated period for his family clan. His father’s crush on Ursula Andress was the last straw for Elodie Constantin : “Let’s say that it was above all the affair too many… Me, I was three and a half years old at that time, I don’t have any painful memories. The one who has perhaps suffered the most is Patricia (his older sister). Once my mother divorced, we went to live in England with her and when I came back to France to see dad, he didn’t welcome me in the presence of Ursula.“
The other hard blow for the Belmondos was the death of their daughter Patricia in a fire in her apartment in Paris in 1994.
