This Friday, March 4, Lou Pernaut posted a poignant new message on his Instagram account to pay tribute to his father, Jean-Pierre Pernaut. After thanking all those who sent her messages of support, the young woman saluted the memory of a dad “who gave everything for us to be happy”.
“An incredible father”. A few hours after the announcement of the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut this Wednesday, March 2, his daughter Lou posted a short message to his followers on his TikTok account: “Thank you all for your love. We’re staying with family for now. Enjoy your loved ones, and tell them you love them”she had written in black on white with a song by Johnny Hallyday in the background.
Two days after this tragic disappearance, the young woman found the strength to express her immense grief, by posting a new message in story on her Instagram account to pay tribute to her dad. “Hello everybody. Thank you for your many messages. Thank you also for these many beautiful videos that I receive every day retracing the life of my dad”, she first started.
Lou Pernaut: “More than a journalist, an incredible father”
Lou Pernaut then praised the great qualities of the journalist from 13 Hours TF1. “More than a journalist, an incredible father who has always been there for us, who has given everything so that we are happy and that we lack nothing. Also an incredible husband very attentive, modest, sensitive and generous”she continued, adding that her family had it “accompanied until the last moments”although it indicates that “It’s always difficult to achieve…”. A magnificent message that Lou Pernaut wished to conclude by having a last thought for his father: “Rest in peace Dad, I love you.”
