Jean-Pierre Pernaut finds his favorite hut at 1 p.m.: here is his new project: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

A change in continuity. By saying the sentence “I love you, I will never forget you”, on December 18, 2020, Jean-Pierre Pernaut greeted the viewers of the JT from 1 p.m. TF1. But these words sounded more like a goodbye than a farewell for the journalist at the helm of this very well-attended meeting, after 33 years of good and loyal service. Because the companion of Nathalie Marquay did not lack projects, he who likes to go fast on the racing circuits, his other passion. Thus, after having passed the baton to Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, with a certain elegance, JPP found himself at the head of a weekly program on LCI, Jean-Pierre and you, which attracts 140,000 viewers every Saturday between 1.45 p.m. and 3 p.m. The fans lack his freedom of tone can also find it on the JPPTV, a platform dedicated to heritage, the environment, culture and regional news.

A big first on the radio

Despite this busy schedule, Jean-Pierre Pernaut found the necessary energy to start a new project. This will be a great first since this TV man has chosen another medium to inform the French: the radio. And if Europe 1 and RTL tried to poach him, this is the station Nostalgia who won the jackpot, convincing him to present a daily lozenge for 33 days, corresponding to his years of JT on the first channel. “He will entrust us every day with anecdotes and memories of this period”, reveals Xavier Laissus Pasqualini, director of the antenna, in the columns of Parisian dated Saturday April 17, 2021. The appointment is given on Monday April 19 at a time slot that Picard knows well since he finds his favorite hut at 1 p.m.. If this experience turns out to be ephemeral at first (until Wednesday, June 2), there is no doubt that it will be followed by a strong enthusiasm and perhaps an extension, if affinities. Because having peaceful days is not (yet) an option for the 71-year-old journalist.
