The former presenter of the 13H news from TF1 fought to the end against lung cancer, diagnosed last spring. Following a successful operation last September, the disease affected the other lung. This required radiotherapy sessions, a new intervention being too dangerous. His state of health did not improve thereafter since after having suffered 4 mini-strokes at the start of the year, he underwent open-heart surgery in February. Due to complications, he was plunged into a deep coma before taking his last breath.
